Safety and Wellbeing
The health, safety and wellbeing of our children and staff is always our top priority.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our children and staff is always our top priority. We provide a safe, secure environment where children can explore, play and grow with confidence, supported by clear procedures for entry, collection and visitors. Staff carry out daily safety checks to ensure all areas remain safe.
First Aid
Bumps and falls are a natural part of childhood, and our staff is trained to respond quickly and effectively if accidents happen.
We are proud to hold Millie's Mark, the gold standard for First Aid in early years settings.

We've got Millie's Mark for
First Aid Excellence!
All staff caring for children are First Aid trained
Strong delivery of first aid training and understanding
Risk management at mealtimes, daily routines and play
Clear systems for recording accidents and minimising them

Hygiene and Cleanliness
We are proud of our high standards of cleanliness. Play areas, toys, toilets, kitchens, sleep spaces and nappy-changing areas are cleaned regularly throughout the day to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Our dedicated housekeeping team supports these routines, and cleaning stations are available around the nursery whenever needed.
Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness
We are inspected by the local council's Environmental Health Department and hold a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating. We work closely with parents to support children with allergies or dietary needs.
Understanding safety is an important part of children's development. Through gentle guidance and age-appropriate challenges, children learn how to keep themselves and others safe.
Managing Risk as a Learning Opportunity
Understanding safety is an important part of children's development. Through gentle guidance and age-appropriate challenges, children learn how to keep themselves and others safe.
Outings and Visits
Outings to local places of interest extend children's learning beyond the nursery. Visits are carefully risk assessed, and written parental consent is always obtained.
Your child's safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
